Ghana College of Pharmacists : Ghana School of Pharmacy is one of the six schools under the College of Health Sciences in University of Ghana.
This institution is ranked number one in West Africa and number seven in Africa.
The school focuses on promoting specialist training in pharmacy, and related disciplines, to promote continuous professional development in pharmacy and related disciplines, promote research in pharmaceutical practice and related disciplines, and contribute to the formulation of policies on sound health, medicines, and public health general.

University for Development Studies : This institution is located in Tamale and is one of the universities enrolling students in pharmacy in Ghana.
The University for Development Studies was founded in 1992. It is the fifth public university to be established in Ghana.
UDS was established from the inspiration of the need for universities to actively get involved in handling problems facing the society. The institution has four campuses that can be found in Wa, Tamale, Navrongo, and Nyankpala.
